PSP mode is used when your computer is using battery power. Depending upon the manufacturer of your computer, your adapter might or might not use PSP mode when plugged into the power adapter.
Before starting with the driver install please make sure you are using the latest driver model or revision available from the producer for your operating system. Please follow the instructions in the included readme files when available. Usually a system restart is necessary for the driver to became active.
