RAW Developer is a powerful RAW image processing and conversion application designed and optimized specifically for Mac OS X. RAW Developer gives photographers complete control over their digital images and provides flexible, fast and easy to use batch processing. All image editing operations are entirely non-destructive and never modify your original RAW images. All image processing operations are performed at 16 bits/channel or higher bit depth for maximum image fidelity. RAW Developer offers many advanced features to enable you to achieve outstanding image quality from your digital camera. Some of the features included are: High quality image conversion (demosaicing) algorithms Fully color managed processing pipeline which is completely user configurable enabling accurate, high quality color rendering and advanced support for use of high quality camera specific ICC profiles. Numerous white balance options including dropper cursor tool and 8 user customizable presets CIELab Lightness channel based unsharp mask sharpening Advanced CIELab based noise reduction Flexible tone curve adjustments, including individual color channels and CIELab based curves. High quality image resizing options based on Lanczos scaling flexible image rotation and orientation, including straighten tool Multiple monochrome (black & white) conversion options including RGB channel mixers and custom CIELab based duotones.
