ParallelGraphics's Cortona for Mac is a free add-on for Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape Communicatorâ„¢ that can browse virtual worlds written in VRML. Cortona provides navigation paradigms (such as walking or flying) that enable the user to move the viewer through the virtual world. In addition to navigation, it provides a mechanism allowing the user to interact with the world through a sensor in the scene. Cortona for Mac provides a hardware renderer based on OpenGL.
