Fresh Start is an extension that operates when the Mac starts up and when a user logs in. At startup, Fresh Start restores the Macintosh's OS and application settings to a standard state. This standard state, captured automatically, includes system, application, control panel and extension preferences, some system settings and all known PRAM settings. At login, Fresh Start optionally restores a user’s environment to its automatically-captured standard state. - The user’s preferences and other environmental settings are reset to their standard state. - Extra documents on the user’s desktop or documents folder are swept into a special folder where they are kept for a time (typically 24 hours) before automatic deletion. - Standard items that have been deleted from the desktop or documents folder are restored.Fresh Start comes with a Setup Assistant, making it much easier to set up and manage.
