Avira AntiVir Mobile protects all conventional models of mobile phone users against viruses and malware. It is based on the tried and tested AntiVir virus and malware detection technology, which was specially optimized for use in mobile phones and has proven its high detection rates in tests.
Simple installation and updates within seconds:
- Transmission of the program package by docking onto the local PC (PDA).
- Simple manual program update via LAN, WLAN or dial-up (PDA). Update also possible via host PC.
- Roll-back in case an update could not be carried out completely.
- Automatic scan-on-sync protection (PDA) for secure data synchronization
Individual setting possibilities and transparent status information:
- Clear menu navigation that does not set any riddles.
- Flexibility through definition of the scanning scope.
- Optional scanning of ROM files and/or cards and network folders
- Automatic or interactive procedure in the event of a virus detection).
- Possibility to delete infected files.
- Specific information on every virus detection, so that you are always in the picture. Version information can be requested at any time
New: Signed files for Mobile 5 with Separate Kit - Avira AntiVir Mobile (Pocket PC) for Windows Mobile 5 now comes with signed files, i.e. those annoying messages that the product is untrusted will no longer come up.
Please note:
There will be a separate "Mobile 5" product kit whose binaries are exactly the same as in the kits for PPC 2002 and 2003 but they are signed.
